INSTRUCTOR

Paula Walsh

Paula Walsh

Paula Walsh (E-RYT 500, YACEP) is a senior yoga teacher, yoga teacher trainer and Registered Nurse with 25 years of healthcare experience. Since 2011, she has been teaching yoga internationally, bridging modern anatomy, embodied awareness, traditional yoga and Yin Yoga practice, supporting students in deepening both their personal practice and their skills as teachers.

Over the past decade, Paula has trained and mentored hundreds of students from around the world, supporting them on their journey to becoming confident and authentic Yin Yoga teachers.

She specialises in Yin Yoga, applied anatomy, fascia and nervous system regulation, helping students bridge modern science with the wisdom of Yin yoga and traditional yoga practice. Her approach emphasises the receptive qualities of Yin Yoga, inviting students to slow down, listen deeply and cultivate greater awareness of body, breath and mind.

Known for making complex concepts accessible and engaging, Paula encourages students to move beyond simply learning postures and techniques and into a deeper relationship with themselves. Her teaching invites curiosity, self-inquiry and the cultivation of a practice that supports both personal growth and authentic teaching.

Drawing on her background in nursing, yoga education and years of working with students from around the world, Paula’s approach is grounded, practical and deeply human. She believes that some of the most profound transformations occur not through doing more, but through learning to listen.
