Into to Kundalini Yoga

A gentle, beginner-friendly class introducing Kundalini yoga fundamentals: breathwork (pranayama), basic kriyas (movement sequences), mantra/sound healing, and guided meditation. Sessions focus on awakening energy, improving breath awareness, reducing stress, and building spinal flexibility. Suitable for all levels; modifications offered. Expect a warm-up, clear instruction for each practice, short relaxation, and time for Q&A.

This class is perfect for all levels, whether you’re a beginner or experienced yogi. Aerial yoga is a unique and dynamic form of yoga that combines traditional yoga poses, Pilates, and dance with the use of a hammock or silk fabric suspended from the ceiling. The fabric supports the body, allowing practitioners to perform poses in mid-air, which helps in decompressing the spine, increasing flexibility, and building strength. Aerial yoga enhances relaxation and deepens stretches, providing a sense of weightlessness and a fresh perspective on familiar yoga postures.

The class covers Reiki history and principles, hand positions for self-treatment and on others, basic energetic anatomy, and a short guided self-Reiki practice. Includes a demonstration, partner practice, and time for questions and reflection. Benefits: promotes relaxation, stress reduction, increased self-awareness, and tools for daily self-care. Suitable for beginners; wear comfortable clothing and bring a water bottle

Slow, nourishing yoga held partly in a supportive aerial hammock with live acoustic music to deepen restorative practice. This gentle class blends yin-style floor poses and long, passive stretches with suspended positions in the hammock to decompress the spine, release connective tissue, and ease joint tension. Live music (guitar, singing, or ambient instruments) accompanies transitions and holds, enhancing relaxation, breath awareness, and nervous-system regulation.
