50-Hour Kundalini Yoga Teacher Training in Thailand

Kundalini Yoga offers a powerful path of self-exploration through movement, breath, meditation, mantra, mudra, and kriya.

At Ananda Yoga and Detox Center in Koh Phangan, Thailand, the 50-Hour Kundalini Yoga Teacher Training is designed as an immersive experience for yoga teachers and dedicated practitioners who want to explore the depth of Kundalini Yoga and develop practical skills for sharing the practice with others.

The training brings together traditional Kundalini teachings with Hatha Yoga, Qigong, pranayama, active meditation, mantra, mudra, anatomy, and teaching methodology.

Over the course of the training, you will have the opportunity to explore Kundalini Yoga both as a personal practice and as a system that can be integrated into your teaching and everyday life.

What Is Kundalini Yoga?

Kundalini Yoga is a practice that combines physical movement with breathwork, meditation, mantra, mudra, and other traditional yogic techniques.

Rather than focusing exclusively on physical postures, Kundalini Yoga explores the relationship between the body, breath, mind, energy, and consciousness.

At Ananda Yoga and Detox Center, the training explores Kundalini through practices including kriya, pranayama, meditation, mantra, and mudra, while also introducing the history and underlying concepts of Kundalini Yoga.

This makes the training an opportunity to experience a broader dimension of yoga — one that goes beyond the physical practice.

Why Explore Kundalini Yoga?

A Kundalini Yoga practice can offer a different way to approach your yoga journey.

The programme is designed to help participants explore:

  • Greater self-awareness
  • Spiritual growth and personal development
  • Breath and energy awareness
  • Meditation and concentration
  • The power of mantra and sound vibration
  • The role of mudras in practice
  • The relationship between Kundalini and the body
  • The connection between traditional practices and modern life

The training also explores practices intended to support vitality, reduce stress, and develop greater awareness of the body and mind.

Rather than treating Kundalini Yoga as simply another style of physical yoga, the programme invites you to explore its wider philosophical, energetic, and meditative dimensions.

Go Beyond the Physical Practice

One of the distinctive aspects of Kundalini Yoga is its emphasis on more than physical movement.

The Ananda Yoga and Detox Center training explores the relationship between Kundalini practices and areas such as the spine, glandular system, organs, breath, sound, meditation, and the subtle aspects of the body.

The curriculum includes functional spinal, glandular, and organ anatomy, giving participants a foundation for understanding the body alongside the traditional teachings.

You will also be introduced to the concept of the 10 Bodies and explore Kundalini energy principles in relation to awakening Kundalini.

This creates an opportunity to approach the practice from both experiential and educational perspectives.

The Power of Mantra and Sound

Sound and vibration play an important role in Kundalini Yoga.

Mantra can provide an anchor for meditation while introducing a different relationship with breath, sound, attention, and awareness.

During the training, you will explore specific Kundalini mantras as part of the curriculum and teaching practice.

For practitioners accustomed primarily to physical yoga, this can open the door to a different experience of practice — one where sound becomes part of the journey inward.

Mudras and the Subtle Dimensions of Yoga

Mudras are another important element of the Kundalini Yoga practice.

The training explores the use of mudras and their role within Kundalini practices, including the idea of using mudras to activate inner awareness and support meditation.

Combined with pranayama, mantra, meditation, and kriya, mudras become part of a broader practice that encourages participants to explore the relationship between physical actions and internal experience.
