- All instruction in English so you must be able to speak and read English at conversational level
- You must be able to participate in a group learning experience and be willing to accept and provide feedback in an objective and constructive way.
- Some ashtanga yoga experience is necessary but you do not have to be advanced.
- To receive 30-hours of Yoga Alliance approved professional development credits you must have 200-hour Yoga teaching certification currently registered with Yoga Alliance
Opening Sunday:
Check-in at 2 pm. Opening session and orientation dinner at 5 pm.
Program Graduation final Saturday.
Check out at 11 am on the final Sunday.

Over the 35 years of her ashtanga practice Valerie has studied with such luminaries as Sri K. Pattabhi Jois, R. Sharath Jois, John Scott, Graeme Northfield, Tim Miller, Dave Oliver, Eddie Stern, Lino Miele, Richard Freeman, and many many others. In addition to 15 plus trips to India to study within this traditional form she is well versed in contemporary yoga practices and anatomy and very interested in the role of yoga in developing sustainable and long term strength, especially for aging bodies. Known for developing systematic and student-focused curriculums she will help you refine your practice and develop your ashtanga teaching skills.
