Over the 30 years of her ashtanga practice Valerie has studied with such luminaries as Sri K. Pattabhi Jois, R. Sharath Jois, John Scott, Graeme Northfield, Tim Miller, Dave Oliver, Eddie Stern, Lino Miele, Richard Freeman, and many many others. In addition to 15 plus trips to India to study within traditional lineages she has studied with internationally acclaimed teachers in contemporary forms and studied extensively in both philosophy and anatomy. Known as a teachers’ teacher she brings wisdom and a nurturing energy to all of her classes.
Alona shares her extraordinary practice ethic and extensive ashtanga knowledge. She will guide you with intelligence and compassion as you discover your own way of being in a practice.
